The first pattern in the Road Trip Pattern Club is this Road Tripper Duffle, designed by Betz White. I adore this bag and absolutely cannot wait to make it. Just look at the details:

This Road Tripper Duffle will be perfect for all your upcoming travels whether you are taking your kids to the beach, enjoying a mountain retreat with the family or just spending the weekend in the big city with friends. It's got pockets galore (who doesn't love pockets?) and two sets of handles/straps so you can hand carry it or throw it over your shoulder.

So, what's the next pattern, you ask? I am absolutely dying to share this with you, but I can't show you the full thing just yet. All I can say is that it will be a women's garment that will fit ALL women, no matter your size or body shape... cool, eh? My pattern will come to you on June 16th. Here is a tiny sneak peek to whet your appetite. :)

I know, I know, I'm a tease. But, I promise it will not disappoint! I will show you the full thing in a couple of weeks... promise!

About the Pattern Designers

Our journey starts with Betz White in Maryland. You’ll love the new pattern she has planned and it’s perfect for a weekend get-away. Betz is the first stop on the road trip so you won’t have to wait long to see it!

Next stop: Patty Young in Illinois. Patty of MODKID is a well established pattern and fabric designer known for her bold designs and colorful palette. Her design for the club is something that will take you from hotel to pool in style.

We’ll head north to Carla Hegeman Crim in Upstate New York. Carla, of the Scientific Seamstress, has a thriving sewing pattern business. Carla’s design for the club is something easy-breezy to get you through a long hot summer.

Next we’re bound for New York City for a visit with veteran pattern designer Liesl Gibson of Oliver + S, Liesl and Co., Lisette and Straight Stitch Society. Liesl knows it’s the little things that matter and her design will help you keep track of them.

Carolyn Friedlander in Florida is our final destination! Carolyn, a quilt and fabric designer, travels frequently to teach quilting and sewing classes. Her pattern design for the club is sure to help you sew on the go.

LEXI inspiration on SEW FAB

One of the wonderful things about being part of the SEW FAB group has been getting to "meet" so many fabulous designers! Even though we have never met face to face and most of us live nowhere near each other, we do have one thing in common... SEWING! And with that comes a love for patterns, fabric and photography.

In case you don't know about SEW FAB, click HERE to learn more.
The SEW FAB bundle can be purchased HERE.

Our LEXI DRESS AND PEPLUM TOP pattern is our contribution to the SEW FAB bundle. Today I am sharing some LEXI Dresses made by my fellow SEW FAB designers.

First off we have Karly Nelson, of Paisley Roots, who actually made her own reverse appliqué technique on the front of this LEXI dress as part of Project Run and Play. WOW, I am in love with this version of Lexi! The pattern on the front is absolutely FABULOUS!!

Next we have designer Sara Beth Upshaw, of Molly Blossom, sharing her wonderful up-cycled Monsters Inc Lexi dress. How cute is she? I think she likes her new dress.... and so do I!

And last, but certainly not least, Jeanine Thomlinson of Scientific Seamstress added a dinosaur free-stitched embroidery design to the front of this Lexi dress. How awesome is that?! She said "My girl loooooves wearing it! She's worn it twice now this week. haha"

This pattern and 19 others are included in the SEW FAB bundle! You will receive 20 PDF patterns for $29.99 ... that's less than $1.50 per pattern! A better deal than that you will not find.

If you’ve never sewn with a PDF pattern before, let me tell you how great it is! After downloading your pattern, you will print out the pattern itself, creating pattern tiles, if you will. Simply tape the tiles together to create the full pattern! At that point you can cut out the size that you need and pin the paper pattern directly to your fabric, or you can trace the pattern size that you need onto sewing paper or tracing paper and cut it out, saving the paper pattern for later when you need to sew another size. PDF patterns are so convenient because you can print them out as many times as you need!

Now for the part you've been waiting for… the patterns!

A collection of 19 PDF Patterns from 19 well-known and up and coming designers are instantly accessible to you by PDF download upon purchase of the Sew Fab Pattern Bundle. Imagine all of the combinations that you can put together with this bundle of patterns, with many transitioning to fall and winter as well! Here are the patterns that you will receive (click on the links below the collage for more information about each pattern.):
